this amendment is probably the most convoluted of the 10. the federal law reads that a citizen has the right to bear arms. i'm not sure that they have resolved whether this applies only to the militia being able to bear arms or whether anybody can bear arms.
there are not only problems on restrictions like the sale of assault weapons, background checks and waiting periods to name a few.
there is another problem. the federal constitution does not restrict the states, so gun laws in the states vary considerably from state to state.
i think the answer you want is whether guns should be restricted at all. the second amendment does not make it clear what to do.
the correct prediction is iii only. more than half of the united states population will live in suburban areas, since the trend in 1990 reached 46%, with an approximate growth of 2% every 10 years, so if this growth is maintained, it would reach more than 50% of the population living in suburban areas by 2020.
regarding point i, there is no data about how many people live near an interstate highway, so there is no possible comparison.
regarding point ii, the percentage of the population living in urban areas has remained constant, with a variation between 30-32%, so there is no indication that it would go down to 25% or less.
