here's why for the first one it's easy because we just solve y=2, x=3, so we select c, the next one however we have to know eliminate a variable, which in this case we can eliminate the y variable quite easily. so once we did that we got x=2, now we plug that in to the first equation and we get -y=1, which is equal to -1.
