i know there is an easier way to do but i am gonna show you a way that i can remember best.
first you want to find the height and base. of a square, that is isn't to hard since the height is equal the base.
so, squareroot 300.

now we are gonna do the pythagorean theorem.
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
so replace a and b with 17.3
17.3^2 + 17.3^2 = c^2
okay, so now square 17.3-- oh look, we already have it.
300 + 300 = c^2
300 + 300 = 600 (which now we need to squareroot 600 to get our c alone.
squareroot of 600= 24.5
so it is 24.5m

when the expressions are simplified, the variables will disappear and a true statement like -25=-25 or 0=0 is left. this means that there are an infinite many of solutions to solve the equation.
