i know there is an easier way to do but i am gonna show you a way that i can remember best.
first you want to find the height and base. of a square, that is isn't to hard since the height is equal the base.
so, squareroot 300.
which is about 17.3
now we are gonna do the pythagorean theorem.
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
so replace a and b with 17.3
17.3^2 + 17.3^2 = c^2
okay, so now square 17.3-- oh look, we already have it.
300 + 300 = c^2
300 + 300 = 600 (which now we need to squareroot 600 to get our c alone.
squareroot of 600= 24.5
so it is 24.5m
adding the negative and the same number that is opposite, like positive, would cancel it out. so -7+7=0, since opposites cancel eachother out. the answer is what's left: -17, and ignore the addition sign since there is nothing on the other side to connect it.
or you could do:
a streight line has an angle of 180 so if you take 180 and subtract 105 you get 75
a rectangular solid is dilated by a factor of 0.5.
how many time...
